SpinControl's Industrial prototype gear operated at cooler temperatures while using two thirds less oil than the conventional worm gear. SpinControl gears reduce friction which in turn decreases heat and fuel consumption. Decreased fuel consumption = reduced emissions. |

The SpinCo 14:1 ratio industrial prototype was independently tested against a double enveloping worm gear having the same ratio and center distance at an A/C axle dynamometer laboratory located in Michigan. |
